2. About the service
VoxPolitica is a platform that makes UK parliamentary material more searchable, structured, and usable.
The service may include, depending on access level:
- a free public dashboard experience;
- paid subscriber dashboards and tools;
- saved searches;
- CSV export features;
- account, subscription, and billing pages; and
- links or references to official parliamentary sources.
We may add, remove, improve, suspend, or change features from time to time.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You may use VoxPolitica only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
If you create an account, you must:
- provide accurate information;
- keep login credentials confidential;
- not share your account with others;
- not allow subscriber-only features to be used through your account by unauthorised persons; and
- notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
You are responsible for activity on your account unless and until you notify us of a security issue.
4. Subscription tiers
VoxPolitica may offer free and paid access levels, including Supporter and Professional plans.
Pricing, included features, trials, renewal arrangements, and cancellation terms are set out on the website and in the Subscription, Billing, Trial and Cancellation Terms, which form part of these Terms.
5. Acceptable use
You must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy.
Among other things, you must not:
- use the service unlawfully or fraudulently;
- interfere with the service or its security;
- bypass quotas, rate limits, access controls, or technical restrictions;
- share credentials;
- scrape or extract data from the service in a way that is abusive, excessive, technically harmful, or designed to substitute for paid authorised access; or
- use VoxPolitica’s protected arrangement, packaging, or subscriber-only outputs to create a competing service without permission.
6. Source data, enrichment, and limitations
VoxPolitica uses parliamentary source material and applies automated structuring and enrichment, including classification, filtering, and other analytical features.
VoxPolitica does not replace the official parliamentary record.
You acknowledge that:
- official source data may be corrected, delayed, incomplete, or revised;
- automated classifications and other analytical outputs may be conservative, incomplete, probabilistic, or imperfect;
- search and filter results are research tools, not guarantees of completeness; and
- you remain responsible for checking primary sources where accuracy or completeness is important.
7. No professional advice
VoxPolitica is an information and research tool. It does not provide legal, regulatory, investment, or other professional advice.
8. Intellectual property
Except for third-party materials used under their own licences or permissions, VoxPolitica and its licensors own or control rights in the service, including, where applicable:
- site branding and design;
- software and code;
- the structure, arrangement, and presentation of the service;
- original explanatory text written by VoxPolitica; and

Your use of underlying parliamentary materials may also be subject to the applicable source licence. See our Copyright / Intellectual Property / Data Source Notice.
9. Licence to use the service
Subject to these Terms and any paid subscription you hold, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use VoxPolitica for lawful personal, editorial, internal business, professional, or research use.
You may not resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit access to the service itself without written permission.
10. User inputs and saved items
Where the service allows you to save searches or similar account content, you remain responsible for what you choose to store.
You must not use those features to store unlawful, infringing, malicious, or otherwise prohibited material.
11. Payments and billing
Paid subscriptions are governed by the Subscription, Billing, Trial and Cancellation Terms.
12. Suspension, restriction, and termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to all or part of the service if:
- you breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy;
- we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, unlawful conduct, or a security risk;
- payment fails or a subscription lapses;
- we need to protect the service, users, third parties, or ourselves; or
- we are required to do so by law.
Where appropriate, we may downgrade, restrict, or remove access to paid features rather than terminate the account entirely.
Termination does not affect accrued rights or liabilities.
13. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service, but VoxPolitica is provided on an as available basis.
We do not promise uninterrupted availability, permanent feature continuity, or compatibility with every device, browser, workflow, or downstream system.

15. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, and subject to clause 14, VoxPolitica disclaims warranties, representations, and conditions not expressly set out in these Terms.
In particular, we do not warrant completeness, uninterrupted availability, or that parliamentary or analytical outputs will be free from error.
16. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
- any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to the above, VoxPolitica will not be liable for:
- indirect or consequential loss;
- loss of profits, revenue, contracts, goodwill, or opportunity;
- losses arising from reliance on the service without checking primary sources where that is reasonable;
- losses caused by misuse of the service or breach of these Terms; or
- losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Subject to any non-excludable consumer rights, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the paid service will not exceed the total amount paid to VoxPolitica by you in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
If you use only the free/public service, our total aggregate liability will not exceed £100.
17. Complaints, corrections, and notices
If you believe material on VoxPolitica is inaccurate, infringes rights, or needs correction, use the contact details on our Contact / Complaints / Legal Requests page.
We may review and amend VoxPolitica’s own metadata, labels, and presentation where appropriate, but we do not amend the official parliamentary record itself.

Our use of personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice.
